Sandy developed the OCHRE software platform (Online Cultural and Historical Research Environment) and supports all of the research projects using the software. Trained in computer science and in applications of technology to educational contexts, Sandy applies her technical background to the challenges and complexities of representing and managing cultural and historical data in all of its digital forms.

 

 

 

Miller Prosser

 

Research database consultant for the University of Chicago OCHRE Data Service, Miller is well acquainted with the details and complexities inherent in the data derived from the study of the ancient world. Also a keen photographer, Miller has many years’ experience bringing to life low-relief incisions and long-faded ink inscriptions on ancient clay tablets using BetterLight scanning and RTI (reflectance transformation imaging) techniques.
